Team Captains Page 2013

This page is for team captains only.  This is pretty much everything you need to get started for the 2013 season.

Rosters
Each team must complete a roster form and return it to me prior to the start of the season (preferably in electronic form).

As per the discussion at the league meeting, teams have until Mother's Day to make changes to their roster and players must play in five games to be eligible for the playoffs.

Instructions - Open this Word document: 2013 WNCES Roster.doc (It's preferable to save the document to your desktop or My Documents folder before completing).  Fill out the document completely.  Attach the document to an e-mail and send to ggibson@wnces.com

(Optional) Accidental Insurance
The league carries liability insurance only.  Accidental Insurance (optional) costs an additional $96 per team and can be purchased through the league.  There is a $500 deductible per incident.  90/10% coinsurance

 If someone on your team does not have health insurance, you are STRONGLY advised to purchase accidental insurance.  This is EXCESS insurance and only comes into play after you have utilized your personal, group medical insurance, or any health benefit plan, first. If you have no other applicable insurance, this policy will pay on a PRIMARY basis.

Game Balls
The league will provide a dozen game balls to each team prior to the first game.

Bats
Our league allows only A.S.A. approved single-walled aluminum (barrel) bats that have been approved as of March 20, 2013: (Printable PDF bat list)

If a bat is not on the ASA approved single-wall list and stamped with the A.S.A certification mark, it can not - under any circumstances - be used in league play.

Bases
Teams must provide their own slide-away bases, including a double-first base

Home Plate Mat
The league will provide a specially measured strike mat to each (new) team.  Replacement mats are $15.

Game Day Scorebooks
Each team (win or lose) must send me a pic or their lineup after every game.
You can e-mail it to ggibson@wnces.com or text it to (610) 539-1573.

It doesn't need to be pretty - just readable (see attached pic). You only need to take a picture of the lineup section. That and the score from the winning team is all we need
